Smart Logistics in Japan

Official opening of Living Lab Logistics between Indonesia and the Netherlands
Universities, companies and the government from the Netherlands and Indonesia have officially opened a bilateral initiative called Living Lab Logistics during a seminar at the Erasmus Huis in Jakarta. This triple helix initiative is driven by higher education and connects companies and government with universities in both countries through students, lecturers and researchers who apply their specialized expertise in logistics to real-life research challenges.

Mr Lim and Mrs Ploumen will meet close to 30 Dutch and Singapore business leaders at the CEO Roundtable organised by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 24 January 2013. This roundtable discussion is held in conjunction with the State Visit of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands and Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Orange, and Princess Máxima of The Netherlands from 24 to 25 January 2013.

By invitation of Dinalog and the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, a World Bank delegation visited the Netherlands from 10 to 12 October. Dinalog coordinated the programme focusing on the Dutch logistics expertise in agrologistics, city distribution, green logistics and port-hinterland connections for deployment in developing markets.
