‘Road mapping workshop’ during the Logistics Living Lab Week

Jakarta, Indonesia – The Logistics Living Lab Week was hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia from April 27 to 29. As part of this Living Lab, nine students from various Dutch universities of applied sciences are gaining work experience with Indonesian logistics companies: Garuda, Samudera and PT Ollop. Through the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the Living Lab supports the development of the triple helix in Indonesia, which Dinalog already has good experience with in the Netherlands. The meeting was kicked off on Monday with

welcoming addresses by representatives from Indonesian universities, Dinalog and the universities of applied sciences. Followed by a master class in supply chain visibility by Jan Willem Proper and students presenting their preliminary research results. On Tuesday, Dinalog put on a road mapping workshop that led to a research program for the activities in the Living Lab for the next few years. Wednesday, field trips were organized to the IPC – the Indonesian port operator – and the Garuda training center in Jakarta.

The Living Lab week was also attended by a number of participants of the Living Lab Water that was also being kicked off. NESO, the representative for universities and applied universities abroad, has set up this Living Lab partly based on the experiences with the Logistics Living Lab.

Dinalog has been involved with the Logistics Living Lab from the start, and will continue this development in the future too. The Living Labs offer an excellent opportunity for building networks in other countries, and to disseminate and develop knowledge through the exchange of students and lecturers.
