Cross Chain Control Collaboration (4C)

Dinalog and WUR provide workshop in Mumbai

On a global scale, 40% of food is wasted after it is cropped. In emerging markets, this is caused by the organization and quality of the supply chain. Today, Dinalog and Wageningen University are organizing a knowledge transfer and analysis workshop for farmers and other chain partners.

For Dinalog, this is a continuation of the collaboration with the SCA group for open innovation in supply chain management in India. The workshop is also a first activity for the Post Harvest Network, which is in the process of being formed with support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs to organize Dutch companies and knowledge institutes for opportunities and projects in post-harvest supply chain management.

In the workshop, Liesbeth Staps, International Liaison Officer for Dinalog, will present the cooperation and innovation in fresh produce logistics and lead a workshop to identify the bottlenecks and to define a possible pilot project.
