Smart Mobility and Smart Logistics matchmaking event
Matchmaking event for Dutch and Belgian companies looking to collaborate in research and development projects. New ICT applications for mobility of people and goods.
On October 18th 2018 the Enterprise Europe Network and the public funding agencies from Belgium and the Netherlands will bring together entrepreneurs and researchers from both countries interested in the topic of smart mobility and smart logistics. Entrepreneurs that have an interest in new applications of ICT, such as big data, 5G or artificial Intelligence, for the mobility of people or goods are encouraged to attend the event and meet potential collaborators.
Belgium and the Netherlands are densely populated countries and large parts of both countries can be considered as urban areas. This provides both challenges and opportunities. The main challenges are accessibility, air quality and traffic safety. The opportunities include new ways of providing services, for instance in city logistics or mobility as a service. The application of ICT plays a central role in developing new services and products. Big data, 5G and artificial intelligence are examples of technologies that offer new possibilities for smart mobility and smart logistics. These can lead to breakthroughs in areas such as connected and automated driving, truck platooning and mobility as a service, urban logistics and smart charging.
