Holland Alumni Logistics Chapter launched in São Paulo
A new Holland Alumni Logistics Chapter was launched at the first Dutch Sector Dialogue, on Logistics, in São Paulo on 1 December. The networking event gave Brazilian alumni an opportunity to meet companies that share their passion for the Netherlands and for the logistics sector.
The new Holland Alumni Logistics Chapter will support the worldwide network of professionals who studied in the field of logistics in the Netherlands. The goal of the chapter is to strengthen the ties between these alumni and the Dutch logistics sector and keep their knowledge up-to-date. This way the alumni become true ambassadors of this important key sector of the Netherlands. Brazil has a long-term programme for the development of the logistics infrastructure in the country, and is therefore seen as an important market for Dutch knowledge and innovations.
You can find more information, as well as a platform for knowledge exchange at Holland Alumni.
Opportunities in the near future
The event was attended by more than 30 alumni and representatives from companies and governmental organisations. A high-level speaker of the Brazilian government, Diogo Piloni e Silva, Director Articulation of Public Policy of the Public Private Partnerships Secretary, gave insight into the opportunities for logistical companies in Brazil the coming years.
The event was supported by TKI-Dinalog, EP-Nuffic and the Dutch embassy in Brazil and was part of the project ‘Buitenland Promotie Logistiek’ in which EP-Nuffic is one of the partners.
