Business cases for the benefit of education
Supply chain management and logistics in companies is becoming increasingly important, because of regulations, because of cost and revenue control, and because of attention from social goals. A lot of research is therefore being done in this field at universities and colleges, often with or for companies. It is important that all this new knowledge also flows back to higher education in the form of modern educational materials.
To achieve wide dissemination and application of (new) knowledge and innovation with a wider reach to students, this voucher scheme has been developed. In 2024, the scheme is open for developing educational cases in the field of logistics and supply chain management.
Funding
There is room for awarding 5 education vouchers for 2024. The maximum amount to be awarded per application is €7,500 (excluding VAT), to be co-financed with an in-kind contribution (hours) with a value at least proportional to the value of the awarded voucher.
Deadline for submission of applications
The scheme is open from 1 July 2024 to 27 September 2024. Applications will be assessed by the Programme Developers of TKI Dinalog. Applications are assessed on a first come first serve basis.
Applications will be assessed on the basis of the following evaluation criteria:
contribution to educational material for the field of logistics and supply chain management;
contribution to the objectives of the Logistics Top Sector and the challenges as identified in the National Knowledge Agenda Logistics 2024;
the quality of the approach and involvement of business;
size potential impact and scope of results in education;
After approval of an application, the educational resource should be realised within 6 months after date of decision. Upon completion, a short content report with the co-funding proof (and possibly hourly justification) with a minimum value proportional to the value of the voucher as well as the deliverables must be submitted.
