For warehouses it is hard to find sufficient higher and lower-educated people. Cognitive assistive
technology (e.g. augmented reality) may be of help, by reducing the required job competences. We
study the effects of this technology on required competences, job quality and performance in (1)
maintenance and repair and (2) manual handling with cognitively impaired people.
