Slimme Data voor Logistieke Innovatie

Worldwide, the transport of goods is growing strongly. The Dutch logistics sector is responding to this development in order to grow into an international top position in 2020. Innovation is essential to achieve this ambition. At the moment, the logistics sector in the Netherlands occupies the second position on the Logistics Performance Index. If we want to maintain this position and turn the Netherlands into one high-quality logistics network, a number of (social and technological) innovations are essential, namely:
- removing challenges that hinder cooperation between logistics chain parties
- unlocking real-time data from government and companies
- combining and sharing digital data and information reliably and responsibly.
This project aims to make a structural contribution to the challenges outlined above and its core objective is to develop a nationally scalable prototype of an open information infrastructure for real-time data for the Dutch logistics sector. This project provides the necessary integration of the knowledge and tools developed from previous projects and should result in efficient acceleration and increased effectiveness, by scaling up in context, project partner circle and coverage (focused on national instead of regional).
