The CDM@Airports research project falls within the domain of supply chain coordination and addresses the subject of logistics organization in a complex multi-stakeholder environment. The project aims to find ways to create the conditions under which logistics companies will exchange data with each other and achieve effective decision-making and cooperation in a complex, operational environment with multiple stakeholders. The goal is to develop knowledge for a planning concept for joint decision-making between stakeholders in the air freight chain at (European) airports, with Schiphol Airport as the central case study. How can neutral governance be set up to work digitally and to innovate together and create system value for all participating parties?

The CDM@Airports project contributes to the main objectives of the Topsector Logistics in the areas of cross-chain control management, data-driven logistics, and sustainability in the (land-side) cargo operations at airports.
