DATA2MOVE (Real-Time Data for Products to Move Data-Driven Real-Time Decision Making in Supply Chains and Logistics)
Project leader:

Paul Huijbregts (huijbregts@dinalog.nl)

The aim of this project is to develop and demonstrate real-time data-driven logistics methods and techniques, with a specific focus on inventory transshipment and transport. Inventory decisions (e.g., transshipment, omni-channels, chain positioning) lead to transport decisions (e.g., vehicle routes, capacity, fleet). With the Internet of Things as one of the main drivers, data-driven decision-making in logistics is now becoming increasingly feasible, but successful implementation is critically dependent on the question “how?”. This requires innovative research combined with practical implementations.
