Companies are increasingly under pressure from changing environmental regulations and long-term environmental problems such as climate change. Traditional ways of organizing resilience in the supply chain—focusing primarily on bouncing back after a disruption—are no longer sufficient. Organizations need new strategies that not only ensure they can continue to function, but also contribute to sustainability and meet social and regulatory expectations. This project investigates how companies can combine these two goals, enabling them to become future-proof while reducing their ecological impact.

In the Resilience That Lasts project, knowledge institutions are collaborating with companies that excel in resilience and sustainability to develop practical solutions. By analyzing concrete cases and scenarios, we identify ways in which companies can adapt and transform their strategies. The main result is a user-friendly dashboard that gives companies insight into their resilience and sustainability and supports them in making smart decisions in a rapidly changing environment.

What the Resilience That Lasts project delivers in concrete terms:
• Interactive dashboard: helps companies integrate resilience and sustainability into their daily decision-making.
• Practical knowledge and experiences: disseminated through workshops, events, and publications, so that companies can learn from each other and adopt best practices.
• Policy recommendations: support companies in anticipating new regulations and developing sustainable strategies.
• Research insights: useful information for improving supply chains, both practically and strategically.

These results enable companies to respond better to changes in legislation and regulations, strengthen their sustainability initiatives, and build robust supply chains. In this way, they not only contribute to a more sustainable economy, but also make their business operations more resilient and future-proof.
